<story>

Beethoven and his music have long been a source of deep interest, fascination, and inspiration for me. It is no coincidence that the subject of my very first painting (done at the ripe old age of 20) proved to be the man himself. Throughout my artistic career I have routinely turned my hand towards Beethoven and his music and this animated piece is just another iteration of what's starting to become a theme.

This piece, entitled On Sonata 23 in F minor Op. 57, Appassionata, III, by Beethoven is a hand-drawn, stop motion animation. This piece works in concert with
in exploring the relationship between sound and image.
