SVA Close Up

Blog design & development, 2012

 <story>

The main design consideration for this blog was to provide a simple and effective framework for the School of Visual Arts to showcase its students, faculty, and alumni. A simple three-up article summary layout was chosen to keep feature stories easily digestible and to encourage exploration. The two sidebars serve to cull together lots of disparate information from across the College's different information sources, from the official Twitter feed, to department blogs, to other social media channels.

This blog launched in March, 2012 and is built on the Wordpress platform.
